Kim Walker Obituary

Kim Rochelle Walker was a meek, humble and loving soul. Her willingness to help others was evident in her work as a travel agent for AAA. She loved to travel; and whether for missionary, cruises, cross country or international, Kim had you covered. Her spirit also led her to work in the maternity ward at Southview Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. If you knew Kim, you loved her. A member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, she worked with the YPD, Sunday School, and sang first soprano in the church choir; “she could sing like an angel!!!” and she also drove the church van.

Kim helped raise two children and four grandchildren and was always a loving, supportive influence in their lives. She was pre-ceded in death by her father, Lendsay Sherman Sweatt, mother, Betty Anne Marlow and baby sister, Casey Renee Sweatt.

Kim is survived by: her loving, husband, Darrell E. Walker; son, Blaec E. Walker and daughter, Logan Brianna Walker; siblings, Sherman Duan Sweatt (Robin), Terri Lynn Rivarde (Farrell), Jay Trent Sweatt (Launette) and John Edward Marlow; special mother, Janice Marie Sweatt; special sisters, Michelle

Lanée Hill and Ramelle Janée Howard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. A special mention of family members, Lucius and Todd Ramsey and Luanna Daniels Norman — Kim held you all in her heart!!!
