Kimiki Conners

Kimiki Conners was born in Oxnard, California on September 3, 1964. She was the youngest daughter of three siblings. She was pre[1]ceded in death by her mother, Barbara E. Chinn and her stepfather, Solomon G. Chinn, Sr.

Kimiki accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized at Second Trinity Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio under the guidance of Rev. Nathaniel Reed. She then served in the Sunbeam Choir, served as an Usher and was active in the Youth Department of the church. She also enjoyed Vacation Bible School during the summer.

Kimiki graduated from Woodward High School in 1982. She participated in various clubs and activities in high school which included being the Class President. In 1988, Kimiki received her diploma in nursing from the Christ Hospital of Nursing. Afterwards, she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2017 from OSU. She then went on to receive her Masters in Health Administration in 2019 from Ohio University.

Kimiki enjoyed being a nurse and serving others to the fullest. She loved being a source of knowledge to other nurses, being firm in her teaching, but very loving. The majority of her career was spent working as a nurse for the Trihealth Hospitals. This included working in the Emergency Department at Good Samaritan Hospital and the Special Care Nursery in the latter part of her career. She had recently accepted a position as the Charge RN for Christ Hospital in Liberty Township.

Kimiki leaves to share her memories, which will never be forgotten: her devoted children, Alexis Maya Conners, Darrin Austin Conners and Makayla Morgan Conners; one grandchild, Kydan Altair Conners; one daughter-in-law, Mia Conners; two siblings, Ochiki Brown-Moore and Solomon G. Chinn, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
