A devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grand-mother and Sister, passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2025.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, she graduated from Jefferson High School in Dayton, Ohio in 1974. She moved to Middletown, Ohio in 1976.
She was married to Reginald Castleman for 18 years. She spent 18 years at Time Warner Cable, where she dedicated herself to her work and colleagues.
Her passions included cooking, gardening and nurturing her family. She was known for her green thumb and the love of planting flowers. She also had a gift for creating a warm, beautiful and loving home environment.
Kimmily was also a sharp dresser and a woman of faith who believed in the power of God. She was a member of New Era Baptist Church.
She was a proud member of the Mahogany Club. A lifelong Sisterhood that brought her joy and support.
She had a gift for offering thoughtful advice and words of wisdom. Always ready to lend a listen-ing ear and supportive heart to anyone who needed it.
Above all, Kimmily was the rock of her family. She was a devoted Mother to her daughter, Amber Beard and son, Kendall Beard and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchild-ren. Her family was her everything and she would do anything for them.
Kimmily was also blessed with a special bond with her cousins, Bobby Walker, Deborah Walker, Teresa Bankston, Yolanda Broyles and Deborah Dee Burgess who shared a special con-nection and treasured memories together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Beard (Ollie) and Mother Margaret White and son, Quincy Beard.
Kimmily leaves to cherish in her memory a large and loving family. She is survived by: her siblings, Therese Jackson, Jennifer Jackson-Howard (Sherman), George Beard II and Kevin Beard; her children, Amber Beard and Kendall (Tonya) Beard; grandchildren, Aubreeayna Cooper, Khylan Jackson, Deana Marie Ramsey, Kendall Beard Jr., Nakel Shores and Anton Baker and fur grandbaby, Storm; great-grandchildren, Xailen Parson, Ke’ajza Owens, Josiah and Jodeci Baker. Kimmily is also survived by: niece, Jo’Nae Collins; nephews, Brandon Qualls, Jason Bizzell Jr. and George Beard III. Kimmily shares love connections with her ex-husband, Reginald Castleman’s family, including his children, Jason (Artrell), Justin Sr. and Kelli; grandchildren, Jason Jr., Ja’lynn, Jacqulse, Jocelyn, Jaylon, Jaleya, Janiah, Jaqan, Jahki, Justin Jr., Jabril, Tyson, Kierstin, Shawn Jr. and Dae’lyn; great-grandchildren, Juelz and Jaysis; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
