Krysta Marie Miles came into the world on February 20th, 1979, in Cincinnati, OH, as the cherished daughter of Ivory William Miles, Jr, and Brenda Walker Miles. Throughout her long and vibrant life, she embraced adventure and freedom while remaining steadfast in her commitment to supporting and caring for her community.
She was formerly known as "Kris" or "KD," and was often referred to as the life and soul of every gathering, possessing a truly captivating and one-of-a-kind personality. Her presence was always marked by her quick wit and direct sense of humor, ensuring that she made a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
She was a formidable force when it came to love. Loving her meant treading carefully, as she poured her heart and soul into her relationships. Her love was intense, and reciprocating it was no easy task; any misstep could lead to a dead end.
Known for her unwavering determination and strong work ethic, she approached her goals with unwavering seriousness. She never let obstacles stand in her way, and her passionate nature shone through in everything she pursued.
Her culinary skills were equally impressive. Her cooking was a source of joy for everyone around her, whether they were friends, family, or even foes. Her meals had the power to turn a terrible day into a better one. Among her most beloved dishes were her honey-glazed salmon and salmon croquettes, seasoned to perfection with bell peppers and spices. She inherited this remarkable ability from her deceased grandmother, Eula Miles, who was also an extraordinary individual and happened to have anosmia, the inability to smell or taste.
She is survived by her mother: Brenda Walker Miles. Her children: Peyton Miles, Jaden Miles, and Sebastion Miles. Her siblings: Brian (Latrice) Miles, and Amber Miles. Her nieces and nephews; Taidgh Miles, Jianna Jones, Jaziyah Jones, Takari Miles, Jalai'Yah Miles, Ja'Ryia Miles, Zion Miles, Brianna Miles, and Brian (Camille) Miles Jr, etc.
To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor at Southern Baptist Church on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, at 10:00 AM. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.
