Laverne I. Parrish

Ms. Laverne Irene Parrish, the eldest of four children, was born in Cincinnati Ohio on November 16, 1946 to the late Foy and Cardell Parrish. LaVerne passed away peacefully on December 23rd, 2024. She was preceded in death by her brother, Foy Parrish, Jr. (Allahku).

Laverne graduated from Lincoln Heights High School, and was employed at General Electric for 30 years. Laverne enjoyed playing Scrabble, reading Star Trek books, and watching television! 

To cherish her memory, LaVerne leaves behind her sisters, Karen Parrish Baker (Winston); Antionette Parrish-Blackwell; God- daughter/niece Monika Baker; nephews W. Alex Baker (Theresa), Michael (Devon) and William (Billy) Lindsay, along with a host of great nieces and nephews, beloved family and friends.
