Lester Bernard Coleman Jr. was born to the union of Lester Bernard Coleman Sr. and Barbara Larkins Coleman on August 18, 1967 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed this earth peacefully on April 2, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio.
Lester accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Zion Missionary Church Glendale under the Pastorate of the late Richard L. Waldrop. Lester loved the Lord and during a season in his life the Lord used him in a mighty way.
Lester spent his youth in Woodlawn, Ohio graduating from Scarlet Oaks High School with culinary training on June 2, 1985, and obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in May, 1992. He was an excellent cook, a skill he inherited from his beloved mother Barbara. A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed playing basketball and softball, and rooting for the Bengals and Michigan Wolverines. Playing chess was also a fun activity.
He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara. They now will be together again in Paradise.
He leaves to cherish his memory and to live in their hearts and minds his children Quentin (Asha), Kierra and Sidney; father, Lester Sr. (Noomiy); grandchildren, Riley, Juellz, and Ryder; siblings Greg (Roxanne), Shechem (Jermaine), and Yolonda; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
