Lyndon "Lorenzo" Jones

Lyndon Lorenzo Jones was born on June 6, 1956 in Troy Alabama to the late Willie James Jones and Lois Boswell Jones. He was the only child born to this union.  He went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2023, in Middletown, Oh.

Lorenzo was raised in Middletown, Ohio and was educated in the Middletown Public School District.  He was a 1975 graduate of Middletown High School. Lorenzo attended ITT Technical Institute in Dayton, OH receiving his technical certification in electronics.  Lorenzo was a very hard worker, and for twenty years, he enjoyed his profession as a truck driver.  Most recently, he was employed with Kroger in West Chester, Ohio. Lorenzo loved the Lord and grew up as a member of Second Baptish Church, later joining Berchah Church.

Lorenzo enjoyed life and was dedicated and committed to his family and friends. He was always willing to give his time, help and support to others. His family will have fond memories of Lorenzo always finding something to joke and laugh about. He always provided comic relief. Lorenzo was very cheerful and enjoyed surrounding himself around people. He was an avid gardener and griller enjoying working in the yard and barbecuing.   He had a close bond and special love with his mother and they were inseparable. You would often find him visiting her daily, cutting her grass, or running errands.  Lorenzo loved his wife Anita Scott dearly, they were married in  Montgomery, Alabama on April, 18, 1998, later relocating to Middletown, Oh. 

Lorenzo is preceded in death by is his father, Willie James Jones and wife, Anita Scott Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Lois Jones, Middletown, Ohio; sons, Antari Park Jones (Renee), Tekeith “Jay” Huffman Jones (Demeako),; granddaughters: Antaria and Sanaria Russell Montgomery, Alabama; uncle:

Cleveland “Tim” Jones (Ann) Troy, Alabama; aunts: Ellen Jones, Troy, Alabama; Margaret Thomas and Lillie Smith, Montgomery, Alabama. Great Aunt Mary Reddock, Detroit, MI, Lessie Wilson, Enterprise, Alabama; Great Uncle Ewell Howard ( Annie Ruth), Pensacola, Florida; God Children: Raven, Seanmichael, Savannah Smith, Donald “DC” Crutch Jr, and Cedric Burroughs. A dear friend Bobby Whitt and a host of cousins and friends.
