Malinda Patrice Ballew

Malinda Patrice Ballew was born April 23, 1970 to the parents of Darlene & Michael Ballew in Cincinnati, Ohio. She passed on June 18, 2025, at the age of 55 after enduring multiple setbacks from surgery. She was the oldest of 5 children.

She attended Kennedy Heights, Woodford, and Silverton Elementary Schools. She graduated from Western Hills High School in 1988. After graduating Malinda went to University of Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky University to further her education in the social work field. While in school Malinda worked at Talbert House and was also an avid shoe sales specialist at Macy's. She later journeyed on to work at US Bank call center then Fifth Third call center which she made memorable impressions and many friends.

Malinda loved to spend time with family and friends. Malinda was an avid reader. She enjoyed going to the movies (even though she talked all the way through the movies), out to eat, and sitting in the park with her Dunkin Donuts Mango Refresher and Popeyes Chicken. Malinda spent a lot of time couponing and telling people where the deals were. 

Although we are saddened by her loss, Malinda was an Organ Donor and was able to give someone another chance at life. 

Malinda leaves to cherish, her parents, Darlene & Michael (Belinda) Ballew; her siblings: Michelle, Brandi, Kelley, Michael (Candace) Ballew, and Elizabeth Freeman; her nieces: Brianna, Briasia, Alijay, Alizah, Aleycia, Nikyah, Nyciah, Macy & Mckenna; her nephews: Samari, Samir & Nilijah. She also leaves behind a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends that she enjoyed spending time with.
