Mar'Dasia Deonna was born on October 6, 2017 to Marquita Smith and DeAnte Bryant, who affectionally called her "Mamacita."
In June 2021, Mar'Dasia was placed in the care of her now mommy Mika Forte' who affectionally called her "Ladybug". On June 21, 2024, she officially became her "Forte" as this was the day she was officially adopted. With this union Mar'Dasia gained an older brother D'Ron, whom she had wrapped around her little finger. He'll miss the way she would just burst into his room and jump on his bed, take snacks, or pick up a PS controller like she knew what she was doing (lol). Mar'Dasia was rambunctious, full of life, and had a smile that could melt the hardest of hearts. She brought so much joy into our lives. Her laughs and giggles could fill a room and make you burst into laughter and you didn't even know what was funny (lol). She gave the BEST hugs. She was her mommy's shadow, wherever she went, Mar'Dasia was sure to follow.
Mar'Dasia was enrolled at ABS in West Chester. It was with their exceptional staff and her hard work Mar'Dasia thrived. Her growth there was amazing. She received several awards throughout the school years, but one stood out particularly. Mar'Dasia received the "DIVA" award for best dressed (lol). I was so proud of her many accomplishments. An autistic non-verbal child who excelled and mastered set goals throughout the school years. With the use of her AAC device, she began to speak more. We had just received notice she would be moving from half-day school to full day due to all the progress she made. The sky was the limit for her.
Left to cherish her sweet memories: Mika Forte', D'Ron Brumby, Arlie Forte' (her Granny), DeAnte Bryant, Marquita Smith, Tahashi Glover (Keith), Amarion Lynn, and a host of other relatives and friends.
