Marcus Tyrone Lee, affectionately known as Forty, came into the world on September 19, 1972, to Linda Lee Harris and Eddie Adams in Middletown, Ohio. Marcus was the eldest of five. Marcus was called from labor to reward on May 30, 2025.
Marcus graduated from Middletown High School in 1991. Marcus worked for O'Charley's where he loved cutting up with his work family and cracking jokes. Through the years Marcus and his mother would frequent O'Charley's for birthdays and other special events. Marcus loved sports and his favorite was football. His favorite team was the Denver Broncos, win or lose he proudly represented his team.
He loved his family dearly and enjoyed celebrating with family and friends for the holidays. Marcus was a devoted father to his only child Marcus Lee Jr. He also enjoyed spending time with his two granddaughters. Although life had its many obstacles, Marcus' faith never wavered nor did the will to fight. To have known Marcus was truly a blessing.
Marcus was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Margie Adams; maternal grandfather, Willie McKnight; and three uncles, Leo Adams, Theodore Adams, and Dwight Bailey.
He leaves to honor his memory: his devoted mother Linda Harris and step father Morris Harris; his father, Eddie Adams; his son, Marcus Lee Jr; his granddaughters, Bella Lee, and Mila Lee; his maternal grandparents George and Bernice Lee; his sisters, Erica Lee and Tasha Hightower; his brothers, Andre Lee, Darren Lee, Brian (Rachel) Harris and Mario Pinson; aunts, Deborah Bailey, Angela Pendergrass (Pete), Juliette Summerville, Laniek Johnson, Shirley Adams, Bridgett Adams and Beverly Adams; Uncle, Jeffrey Lee and a host of, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
