Marqui Conley Obituary

Marqui Dee Lamont Conley, affectionately known as “Keyman” was born on February 24, 1993 to Leoma Conley and Darin Foster in Middletown, Ohio. He departed this life on Monday, November 4, 2019.

Marqui was educated in Middletown Public Schools, attending Middletown High School and later received his GED and certificate of completion in culinary arts in 2013.

As a child, he attended Greater Faith Baptist Church where he was baptized by Pastor Steven McGee.

Marqui had a big heart and was a very loving and caring person who always took care of the needs of others. He helped with his nieces, nephews and cousins. Family was everything to him, especially his beloved daughter, Kelyse and grandmother, Louise Conley. He truly was his brother’s keeper. He loved to laugh and that smile, OH THAT SMILE could melt hearts (at least his mother’s). He loved to travel and anyone who was close to Key, has been on at least one trip with him, even if it was just to the mall or out to dinner. LOL

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Murrie Conley; one aunt, Deanna “Moffers” Meadows; three first cousins, Stephen Wofford, DeMarco R. Conley and Eric Givens; and a brother through Christ, Devon Watson.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Leoma (Demeturis) Conley-Jones and father, Darin Foster, both of Middletown, OH; one daughter, Kelyse Marqui Conley of Middletown, OH; one brother, Mark (Alexis) Conley of Conyers, GA; three sisters, Markisha (LaShawn) Kirkwood of Eupora, MS, Deshay Calhoun and De’Nizjia L. Foster, both of Middletown, OH; two grandmothers, Louise Conley and Francenia (Steven) Foster-Griffey; one great-grandmother, Barbarann Wofford; one grandfather, Henry (Buddy) Marshall, all of Middletown, OH; two brothers through Christ, Jeremy (Joker) Singletary and Benwan Edwards; two special cousins, Frederick Hill and De’Angelo Conley; four nieces, five nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
