Martin (Marty) Lingar, Jr.

Martin (Marty) Lingar, Jr., age 63 of Hamilton passed away Thursday March 6, 2025 at Kettering Heath Medical center. He was born July 15, 1961 in Hamilton, Ohio to the parents of Sandra L. (Jones) Lingar and Martin Lingar Sr.

Marty was preceded in death by both his parents Martin Sr. and Sandra Lingar, Rodger Jones “Unc”, Two brothers John and Jeffery Sr. Lingar, sister Jacqueline Hamblin (Lingar), Three nieces Jackie, Jennifer, Angela, two nephews David Hamblin. Jeffery Lingar Jr and one great nephew Jason.

Marty is survived by his wife Beulah “Rudy” Lingar, four children Sandra Brown (Lingar) of Hamilton, Marti-Lee(Jason) Glenn of Hamilton, John Lingar of Hamilton, Misty (Robert) Denney of Walton Ky, two step children Heather Faust and James Dixon of DryRidge Ky. Two sisters Mary (Daniel) Chitwood of Middletown and Theresa Lingar of Hamilton. His granddaughter Addy Lingar and 17 other grandchildren, many nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored.

Marty spent his life doing what he loved most, fixing things. He was an avid Mechanic his whole life. He started his career working at Brock ‘N’ Sons repairing heavy machinery and finished the remainder of his career at Edgewood Electric. He was the owner and operator of Marty’s Auto and Truck Repair closely working along with his son Johnny. If there was anything he knew how to do it was to be a loving father, husband and a true Mr. Fix it Einstein.

Marty’s favorite past time was watching tv, the louder the better. He could tune out anything watching his favorite show of good ole Star Trek. He had a great personality, always knowing how to make someone laugh. Marty is the oldest of 5 siblings. He raised 6 children and 1 granddaughter. Marty filled his family with love, laughter and compliments. He will be so missed by many people. May the memory of him never fade from those who knew and loved him.
