Mary Louise Jetter was born on August 15, 1965 to Ottye Annette Ruffin Jetter and Otis Bernard Jetter in Cincinnati, Ohio. On the morning of Friday, September 11, 2026 at Mercy Fairfield, Cincinnati, Ohio, the Lord quietly called Mary home to receive her heavenly reward for a job well done.
Mary relocated to Chillicothe, Ohio where she had an opportunity to meet a group of great friends that she really grew to love and adore and stayed in touch with them as much as she could. Mary was a devoted women of God while living. She enjoyed reading her Bible and listening to her gospel music. While in Chillicothe Mary attended Mt Zion Baptist Church faithfully.
Mary was very strong-willed and wanted to be as inde-pendent as possible. Thanks to the help from her guardian Tracy who was working relentlessly to get Mary in a more independent facility, something Mary was looking forward to. Mary was very loving, sweet and funny and a smile that would light up a room. She really enjoyed celebrating with friends and family, whether it was a holiday, someone’s anniversary or birthday, she was all in. Especially her birth-day, she would let you know about six months in advance. Mary always made sure she would call you at least once a week to check in on you which most of the time was on Sunday’s.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving mother, Ottye Jetter and her sweet brother, Otis B. Jetter, Jr.
Mary leaves to cherish her precious memories: brother, Rodney (Kim) Jetter; sister, Faye Ruffin (Blaine, Abdul, Aliyah); loving godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Terry and Eva Reid; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
