Meeka Nichole Parson was born on May 25, 1971, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to William “Emerson” Parson and Mary Story. Meeka was raised by her grandparents, William and Bertha Parson, who pre-ceded her in death. A proud graduate of Withrow High School, Class of 1989, Meeka carried strength, grace and determination with her throughout her life.
On January 10, 2026, Meeka peacefully transitioned from this earthly life at her home, surrounded by the love of her family and friends, at the age of 54.
Meeka was truly one of a kind — an amazingly phenomenal woman whose love knew no limits. She loved her children fiercely and mercifully, always nurturing, encouraging and standing as their greatest source of support. Family was the center of Meeka’s world and her heart was big enough to welcome many. Over the years, she opened both her home and her heart to foster children, offering them safety, warmth and unconditional love.
Known for her gentle spirit and kind heart, Meeka lived with joy and radiated warmth wherever she went. She found happiness in traveling and immense peace in baking, which she lovingly called her “happy place.” Through every cake she designed and every treat she created, Meeka poured her passion, creativity and love into her craft and business, Cam’s Sweets Boutique.
Meeka was preceded in death by her beloved son, Cameron Parson and her grandparents, William and Bertha Parson.
Meeka leaves behind, a beautiful legacy of love to be cherished by her children: her son, LeJon Scott; her daughters, Kaliyah Parson and Heaven Parson; and her son, Altonio “Tiny” Parson. She was a devoted grandmother to her three precious grandchildren, Mila’Leyy Nichole Scott, Malayah Ameeko Scott and Kayden James Barnes. She is also survived by her loving parent, William Parson and her mother, Mary Story; her siblings, Kimberly Parson, Iesha Patterson and Isiah Parson; a very special cousin, Tosha Parson; and some amazing friends, Meredith Poston and Calendula ‘Renee’ Jones; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
Though she is no longer with us in body, Meeka’s love, laughter and gentle spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
