Megan Ashley Sylvester went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2026. Megan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 11, 1990. She was the middle child of Janice Norment and the only child of Frank Sylvester, Jr. She was proceeded in death by both of her grandmothers, Gladys Johnson, Mary A. Sylvester and Grandfather Lonnie Louis Johnson, Sr. and her aunt Yolanda Sylvester. She was a 2009 Graduate of Withrow High School where she later attended Kentucky State University.
Megan leaves behind two beautiful daughters Nicole and Nylah. She also leaves behind her mother Janice Norment, her father Frank Slvester, Jr. (Stepmother) Sharyl Barnes Sylvester, two sisters Jenerra Smith & Aries Norment, three nieces: Darin Brown, Tarin Brown, Isabella Richard: three nephews William Richard, Joshua Richard and Caleb Richard and her children’s father Dominic Williamson.
Megan was a radiant soul whose life was a beautiful song, sung with passion, heart and unwavering love for those around her. She passed away leaving a legacy of kindness, laughter, and a melody that will forever echo into the hearts of those who knew her.
Megan’s greatest masterpieces and the true joys of her life were her two daughters, Nylah and Nicole. She poured her entire heart into being their mother, providing a foundation of unconditional love and a home filled with warmth, songs, and laughter. Her family was her world, and there were no lengths she wouldn’t go to for the people she held dear.
To know Megan was to know a spirit that was as silly as it was sincere. She had a rare gift for finding the humor in life, using her quick wit and playful nature to brighten even the darkest days. She was the person you could call in your hour of need, the one who would “Do Anything for You” without a second thought.
Megan had a profound love for singing, whether it was quiet lullaby, a joyful hymn, or just singing through the house, her voice was a reflection of her inner beauty. Her kindness was not just a trait, but a way of life. She moved through the world with a gentle, loving spirit that made everyone feel seen and valued.
As a mother and a family woman, she was fierce advocate and constant source of support.
While the music of life has reached its final note on earth, the harmony Megan created remains. She taught us how to love deeply, how to laugh at ourselves, and how to serve others with a selfless heart.
Our Sweet Megan we will miss your voice, laughter, singing, funny faces and your genuine heart. We love you beyond words and will forever miss you.
