Michael Anthony McCrary

Michael Anthony McCrary a.k.a. Jay, Gucci, Wiggs, Mack Jay, Uptown Honcho, Gucci Heffner, and let’s not forget, “Mr. Put It On” was born November 4, 1980, to Michael Banks, Sr. and Mary McCrary. On September 3, 2025, the man we all know and love, Jay Wiggs departed this life unexpectedly.

When Jay was about six months, his mother met Michael Bell; they became a union and later Michael Bell became Jay’s bonus dad.

Jay grew up in Mount Healthy, Ohio. He graduated from Mount Healthy High School in 1999. He worked numerous jobs (Mt. Healthy Christian, the car wash, UDF, Family Dollar) until he later decided to start his own company, “Cash Money Bully Gang”.

Mack Jay was a good provider and took great care of his family.

Jay met Kenyatta a.k.a. Kiki when she was in the eighth grade. They later became high school sweethearts and later Jay and Kiki married in 2009. From that union, they have two children: his one and only daughter, Makylah McCrary a.k.a. “his homegirl” and his oldest son, Makell McCrary.

Jay later met Lisa Thomas and had two sons: Bryson McCrary and Noah McCrary. If anyone knows Jay, he lived his life to the fullest. When

Jay got sick, he did not let his ailment get him down, he continued to live, and baby did he live his life. Jay was going to let you know how he felt whether it was through his Facebook story, one of those random posts, or even on Insta-gram. One thing about Jay, he was a protector, loved his family and would go above and beyond for them. He loved his mother and children the most. He also loved his video games, dogs, cars, jewelry, music, shoes, clothes, and his host of family and friends. If there is a “Facebook” in heaven he is definitely going “live” and letting everybody know how he feels. Wiggs was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, uncle Alex Bell and bonus mom, Yolanda Banks.

Jay leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Mary Bell; Jay was fortunate enough to have two fathers, Michael Banks, Sr. and Michael Bell; his one and only sister, Michele Banks; three brothers, Michael Banks, Jr., Marcus Bell and Matthew Bell; his only daughter, Makylah McCrary; three sons, Makell McCrary, Bryson McCrary and Noah McCrary; his only grand-son, Kairo McCrary; his ex-wife, Kenyatta McCrary; his special friend, Lisa Thomas; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, close relatives, friends and loved ones
