Minnie Ruth Jasper

New Beginnings

Minnie Ruth Jasper has left her Earthly Home to go to her Heavenly Home.  She was a Believer in Jesus Christ, and she centered her life for the Love of the Lord.  She shared her life accordingly.  Those who knew her loved her.

Her Life:  Sunrise-Minnie Ruth Jasper was born on November 21,1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sunset-Minnie Ruth Jasper departed this earth on July 8, 2026 at The Christ Hospital.

Her Favorites: God, Chocolate, Red Lobster, Johnny Mathis, Motown Music, Dancing, Crossword Puzzles, and the Color Pink.

Her Legacy: Siblings: Andrew (Barbara) Beck, Dorothy Billups-Matthews, Sharon Canida, and Minister Kenneth (Sharon) Jones. Children: Karen Jasper-Davis, Phillip (Andrea) Jasper, II, and Darryl Jasper. Grandchildren: Aubriana Davis, Khailyn Davis, Jordan Jasper, and Elisha Jasper. Great Grandsons: Kaidyn and Leo Davis. Special Brother-In-Law/Sister-In-Law: Bishop Stephen L. Jasper, Sr./First Lady Diann Jasper

Minnie’s Life Journey from Sunrise to Sunset

Minnie Ruth (Beck) Jasper was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was the daughter of Queen Ester (Chambers) Beck and William Robert Beck.    She was named after her grandmother Minnie and Ruth in the Bible, two virtuous women.  Minnie was of good character and was a peace keeper.  For several decades, she was the wife of Phillip Randal Jasper.

As a child, she was a Believer in Jesus Christ and an active member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville, Ohio. As a young adult, Minnie was stricken with a crippling disease, but she persevered.  She understood that God would not give her more than she could bear.  Also, she knew that The Lord would not leave nor forsake her.  Later in her adult life, Minnie became a dedicated member of Truth Temple Church of God in Avondale, Ohio until her ailment prevented her from physically attending church.   

 Minnie received her Masters’ of Education from the University of Cincinnati.  She was an Educator who taught ESL students and retired from The Cincinnati Bilingual World Academy.  She had a Special Life’s Gift from God.  She had the gift of communicating with children from foreign countries that could not speak any English.     

To some, Minnie was a loving wife, a caring mother, grandmother, a wise sister, and a true friend.  She taught others and assured that they would learn-reading, writing, mathematics, and life lessons.

The Lord called Minnie from her Earthly Home to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, July 8, 2026 @ 10:54 am.  “We are confident I say, and willing to rather be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” ( KJV - 2 Corinthians 5:8).  Minnie is free with a glorified body! Now, she can walk and talk with Him without any worries, pain, or need for a doctor.  She is happy and at peace.

Before her transition, Minnie understood that she would see her loved ones who preceded her in death-her husband, Phillip, her mother, Queen Ester, her sisters-Deborah/Jacqueline, and a host of Special Aunts, Special Uncles, Special Cousins, Special Friends, etc.

 “I don’t have tears of SORROW, but those of JOY because I am in a SPECIAL PLACE with my HEAVENLY FATHER IN ALL HIS GLORY.  I LOVE YOU ALL.” --MINNIE--
