Mykael Callahan

Mykael DeRaunte Callahan, affectionately known as Mickey, was born on October 11, 1995, in Hamilton, Ohio and passed away on January 30, 2025, in Middletown, Ohio. Mykael was a devoted father, finding joy and purpose in raising his son, Mykael DeRaunte Callahan, Jr. His proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his role as a loving dad, and he cherished every moment spent with his child.

An outgoing and energetic individual, MyKael had a vibrant personality that made him the life of the party. His compassion and kindness touched the lives of many, always putting a smile on everyone’s face. Mykael had a passion for watching the Steelers play, often sharing this love with friends and family.

He is survived by his beloved parents, Strawbari Callahan and David Smith, his son Mykael Jr., as well as his siblings Corinthians, Danielle, Dakota, Davonna, Blaine, Chris, Chimere,  Mercedes, Stephen, Jalen, Kyra, Ashton, and also his closest friends Malik, Jaylon, Brendan, Aizon, Anthony, and Cody. Mykael’s infectious spirit and bright energy will be missed by all who knew him. His Legacy of love and joy will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.
