Naomi Brown was born in Charleston, South Carolina on May 3, 1938. Her parents; mother, Rebecca and father, Elder Willie Brown, Sr. were missionaries for the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob. They moved throughout the south for the church and finally resided in Loveland, Ohio.
Naomi was raised in the House of Jacob and enjoyed all the church had to offer. She was elevated to the rank of Elderess. Naomi loved the church and loved going to convocations. There you would find her working and doing whatever was asked of her.
Naomi lived for many years in a senior living facility. She was active and worked three days a week until her passing on February 11, 2019. Naomi was 80 years old.
She leaves behind: one sister, Evangeline Youmans (John) and one brother, Willie Brown, Jr. (Patsy); and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mother Rebecca and Elder Willie Brown, Sr.; two brothers, Clark Goodwin and Bishop T. Titus Goodwin; two sisters, Anna L. Lackey and Esther M. Bennett; and two nieces, Rebecca M. Chambers and Leah Watts.
Rest in peace, Dear Sister. You are truly loved and will be missed forever.
