Patricia Ann Christie, affectionately known as "Pat" was born to the union of the late Ray Christie and Elizabeth "Bettye" Christie (Tuggle) on August 28, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She grew up in the West End and attended several notable schools in the area including Heberle, Sands Elementary, Heinold and Hughes High School. She attended and was baptized at New Prospect Baptist Church.
When Patricia was a pre-teen, the family moved to Chicago, Illinois where she later birthed her oldest children, Michael and Michelle.
After living in Chicago for quite a while, Patricia relocated back to Cincinnati where she birthed Micho (De' Micho) and Monet.
Patricia started her employment journey at Jergens and then worked for Sterns-Hendy Properties who owned the Fay Apartments where she lived. She started cleaning out the units then later was the receptionist in the maintenance office where she would remain for twenty years.
Patirica loved many things including being a UK fan, loved attending and watching drag racing as well as wrestling. She loved the Tasmanian Devil and the color red.
Preceding her in death to welcome her with open arms: her mother, Elizabeth "Bettye" Tuggle; her father, Ray Christie; bonus father, Godfrey Tuggle; sister, Jo Hattie Smith; son, Michael A. Christie and grandson, Terrance Gibson and a host of loved ones and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughters, Michelle, Micho and Monet; sister, Deborah Christie; brother, Darrell Spears; eight grandchildren, Crischelle, Jamila, Casey, Charlotte, Nate, Violet, LaMari, and Lamiyah; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
