Paul Wendell Montgomery, Jr. (Skeeter) was born on April 4, 1971, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the firstborn to his parents, Paul Sr. and Wanda Montgomery. His father and grandparents preceded him in death.
As a little boy, he loved to go to the beach, play marbles, go fishing, fixing bikes and a lover of animals.
Paul attended Oceanside and Santa Ana School District of California. He graduated from Withrow High School in 1989. He received an Associate degree from Wilmington College in Business Administration and attended Cincinnati State College. As a child, he attended United Methodist Church. He later attended Inspirational Bible Church.
Nothing meant more to Paul in this world, but being the greatest father, Papa and uncle. He enjoyed having outings, hanging out at the house and making memories. He made sure that he did special things for holidays and dinners once-a-month with his children and grandchildren. He had the best advice such as “never give up” and he was so supportive. Education was a must with no exceptions.
Paul was such an attentive son to his mother.
Paul had a heart of gold and a spirit to support and assist his family and friends. Some of his favorite things were baseball and he played with the little league Red Sox in California. He developed a love for cooking from his parents. Some of his signature dishes were seafood as well as a grill master. He was at all the family events cooking, smiling and making small talk. Everyone was family to him, and he made sure that everyone ate and ate well.
His other wonderful pastime was traveling with his family to various places in the United States such as Destin, Florida; Charlotte, North Carolina; Holly Springs, North Carolina; Southern California; Atlanta, Georgia; and Vegas. And with the trips, came the many photos. He loved taking pictures with his children, grands and many relatives.
Paul was a meticulous person and a personable man. He took time to nurture each relationship with his family and friends. He took the time to make sure everyone was ok and that they were heard.
He was the flyest dresser in the city, head to toe!
