Stone, Phyllis age 68 of Springfield Twp. Departed this life peacefully on April 3, 2024. Born December 30,1955 the daughter of Thomas Lowell Bell and the Late Phyllis Ann Bell Phyllis, was a native of Crofton, Ky and raised in Dayton, OH.
She pursued her education with diligence, graduating from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School Dayton, Ohio. Continuing her academic journey, she earned an associate degree from Cincinnati State and later obtained a bachelor's degree from University of Phoenix a testament to her commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth. She was a beloved member of the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Dayton, Ohio. She retired from Cincinnati Job Corp Center as the Manager of Residential Living and the Recreational Center. She also traveled with MTC to inspect other Job Corp Centers.
Phyllis loved to travel and spending time with her family and friends.
In 2013 she became a loving mother to Dylan Quinn, Deborah Quinn, Jaheem Adams and many more in the foster care system, she also opened her home to Zion Harrison and others in need.
Phyllis will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and her willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.
She was also proceeded in death by her sister Ruthlyn Baxter.
She leaves behind cherished memories with her father Thomas Bell of Dayton, OH; One brother Anthony (Revonda) Bell of Jacksonville, NC; Sister Ella Bell of Villa Rica, GA; Cousin/sister Lorri (Herbert) Brown of Hopkinsville, KY and Cousin/ brother Alvin (Rhonda) Pimento of Dayton, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
