Pollie Ann Ivory was born November 24, 1954 in Middletown, Ohio to Cora Lee Ivory (Shooby Dooby) and Lawrence Coleman (of Wheeling, WV) and was raised by a very special aunt, Anna Hunter. She passed away Wednesday July 14, 2021 at the tender age of 66 at Atrium Medical Center.
Pollie graduated from Middletown High School in 1973 and worked at Picard paper factory for a brief period. She was baptized and became a member of Bethlehem Temple First Pentecostal Church in October 2020.
Pollie is preceded in death by her parents, infant brother, Dwight Lee Coleman, two cousins; Ulysees Hunter Jr. and Willie E. Hunter (who was very dear to Pollie’s heart).
She is survived by her only son Michael Dwayne Ivory (Denise), 3 grandchildren: Alleyia, Mikyya and Michael Ivory Jr. Great-grandchildren: Tamia Payne, Kevin Cragg III and Zayden Saylors. Two cousins who were more like sisters: Deborah Williams and Darlene Hunter, a very devoted friend: William Nicholson and a host of relatives and friends.
