Prophetess Tammy Hardy-Anya, age 61, went home to be with the Lord on September 8, 2025. Tammy was the beloved daughter of Lovenia Hardy, born on October 31, 1963 in Mobile, Alabama. Tammy spent her formative years in the Hazelwood neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Sycamore High School and later earned her GED from Scarlet Oaks, demonstrating her determination and commitment to personal growth.
Tammy built a meaningful career in hospitality and mas-sage therapy, serving the Cincinnati community for over 25 years. Her work was more than a profession, it was a ministry of care, healing and connection. In August of 2003, Tammy’s spiritual journey reached a profound milestone when she was commissioned as an ordained Prophetess by Brighter Day Victory Temple. Her calling continued to deepen as she was later ordained to the Gospel Ministry by Faith Unlimited Outreach and Development Ministry. Tammy embraced her divine purpose with humility and boldness, ministering to others with wisdom, prayer and prophetic insight.
A woman of deep faith, Tammy participated in numerous faith-based organizations and was actively a member of Emmanuel Temple Apostolic Church, where she was a faithful member and dedicated volunteer. Her presence was a blessing to the congregation and she will be remembered for her unwavering devotion and joyful spirit.
Tammy was preceded in death by: her mother, Lavenia Hardy. She was a devoted mother to her sons, BJ (Syreeta) and Dominic (Brittney) and leaves behind 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her legacy forward with love and pride.
Tammy will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and generosity. Her laughter lit up every room, and her kindness touched countless lives. Whether through her work, her church or her family. Tammy lived a life of purpose and grace. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and the entire Emmanuel Temple Apostolic Church community.
