Regina Michelle Bowens

Celebrating the Life of Regina Michelle Bowens-Dillingham, born on December 17, 1970 and went to glory on February 18, 2021. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, born to Michael V. Dillingham and Margaret L. Dillingham-Goodgame.

Regina, better known as Gina, excelled in Hamilton City Schools and Middletown Schools. She was very bright. She graduated from Middletown in 1989.

Gina married Haze Bowens in 2006. Gina had two children, Jaleesa Shiloon Dillingham and Tanner Haze Bowens, and she had two grandchildren that she raised, Gavin Lee Dillingham and Zoey Sunday Dillingham. She loved them dearly, along with the many nieces and nephews she helped raise.

Gina loved everyone. She especially loved teaching and education. She worked for Butler County Educational Service Center for many years. She was also known by many as Mrs. Gina! The kids loved her. Gina was special. She was kind and caring and loved everyone. Her persona was larger than life, her smile was beautiful and her laugh was contagious. Gina helped any and everyone. She had a heart of gold. Gina was one of a kind — a great mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and friend.

Gina has four brothers, Michael A. Dillingham (Judy), Michael S. Dillingham (Jamie), Alfred J. Dillingham and Carl L. Dillingham. Gina was preceded in death by her father, Michael V. Dillingham; her baby brother, Matthew I. Dillingham; and her mother, Margaret L. Dillingham-Goodgame. Gina has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers at Victory Wholesale who will miss her dearly. Gina will forever be in our hearts.
