Rev. Billy Kennedy was born on September 21, 1952 to the late Helen and Daniel Kennedy, Sr.
Billy had attended Courter Tech High School where he enjoyed gymnastics and also had three black belts in martial arts. Due to the all draft, he went to serve his country in the Vietnam War.
Once home, he met Patricia McBride who he wed and then had two beautiful daughters: Jacqueline and Nicole Kennedy. He then began working in the restaurant business from where he retired.
Billy loved spending time with all of his grandkids, cooking for them and teaching them how to fish. He even baptized one of them. He also became an Ordained Minister and would preach the Word at various churches, play his harmonicas at every church he went to, and even made a song for his beloved grandson, David.
Billy leaves to cherish in his memory: his loving daughter, Jacqueline Kennedy (Jackie) and Nicole Kennedy (Nikki); three grandsons, Damian Ringwood, Daryl Ringwood and David Kennedy; one beautiful granddaughter, Adrianna Kennedy (Baby Girl); four brothers, Louie Burton (Spot), Demetrius Blount, Dwayne Blount and Daniel Kennedy, Jr.; eight sisters, Dora Blount, Melinda Napier, Latonya Murphy, Dannita Storey, Alice Ledford, Theresa Willis-Blount, Yvonne Foster-Grays and Tracy Blount; and a host of nephews, cousins, friends and family.
