Rev. Linda Woodson (née Pryor) passed away suddenly Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the age of 69.
Linda was born on March 7, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Cicero and Pauline (Estill) Pryor. She attended Hughes High School Class of 1974. Linda moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1984 and there met her then husband, Daniel Woodson and became a devoted stepmother to Damon, Danielle and Dasia Woodson. After moving to Atlanta, Linda began working for Marriott Hotels as an Event Planner.
Later in life, Linda developed a passion for real estate and found great fulfillment in educating others about the path to homeownership as a realtor. A devoted believer in Christ, she lived out her faith through compassion, generosity, and a genuine gift for hospitality. She especially loved planning events and welcoming others with care and joy, taking great pride in her career as an event planner, where she brought people together with thoughtfulness and grace. Linda was an active and dedicated member as an Associate Minister at Lively Stone of God Ministries, generously volunteering her time in service to the church and others. She gave freely of herself and made a lasting, meaningful impact through her kindness and unwavering support.
She will be missed by her mother, Pauline Pryor; sister, Beverly Pryor; niece, Kaya Burgin; loving cousin, Diane Bailey; aunt, Ruth (Gene) Pryor of Shelby, North Carolina; and close family friends, Mildred Myles, Vennetta Carr, Rhonda Almond; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Augusta P. Miller; father, Cicero Pryor; brother, Jerry D. Pryor.
