Ronnie White, Sr. was born on January 22, 1954, to Edward White and Dorothy L. Anderson (Moore). Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Vanessa White; one brother, Herman G. Morton (Ann); one nephew and two great nephews. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Tina Lynne White; two sons, Ronnie White, Jr. (Kelly) and Isom Eugene White (Kelsey) whom he loved dearly and was very proud of; and two granddaughters, Camille Elaine White and Fiona Weatherby who made his eyes beam with a wide smile. Ronnie leaves to mourn: 10 siblings, Raymond E. Morton (Gertrude/Cookie), Carey White, Donnie White, Ronnie’s twin (Demeatres/Dee-Dee), Valerie Franklin, Eddrenna Spain (Dennis), Kimberly White (Brian), Evette White, Keith White (Gwyenette/Gwen), Kent White and Antonio White (Yvonne); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ronnie attended Cincinnati Public Schools and was an alumnus of Hughes High School where he graduated in 1971. Ronnie joined the US Navy in 1971 to serve his country and travel the world. Ronnie visited 7 NATO Nations and 16 ports throughout his military career. Ronnie would often talk about the places he had been such as Copenhagen, Denmark, Kiel Canal, Germany, Rosyth Scotland, Brest France, Athens Greece, Golcuk Turkey and Naples, La Spezia and Augusta in Italy. After Ronnie’s honorable military career, he attended the University of Cincinnati and went on to graduate again with honors from Southern Ohio College, Cum Laude in Business Accounting. Ronnie worked various jobs before he became disabled. He worked at the US Post Office, Avon and a firm in Chicago as an Accountant. He also worked at several restaurants as a manager. Ronnie also lived and worked in New York with his oldest brother, Raymond and his wife, Cookie, teaming up with younger brother, Kent performing construction work. Prior to his sister, Vanessa’s death, Ronnie and Vanessa were two peas in a pod, always looking for a good time. They were avid Spades players and partners. They were always together, never apart for long and now they have been reunited.
