Today we remember and celebrate the life of Sarah Rachel Westbrooks. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, who left this world far too soon at the age of 33. Sarah's journey ended untimely on October 25, 2023, leaving a void in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sarah was born on January 8, 1990 and brought boundless joy to her family from the very beginning. She was a bright, vivacious, and compassionate soul, who approached life with an infectious enthusiasm and an unwavering commitment to those she loved. Sarah possessed a heart of pure gold, a wellspring of kindness that touched countless lives throughout her journey. She had a soft spot for children; her house was an open door for those in need. Her radiant smile, warm personality, and kind-hearted nature made her a beacon of light for all who crossed her path.
Sarah received her diploma from Withrow University High School. She was a lifelong learner, continuously acquiring new skills and knowledge which led her to Empire beauty school, where she dedicated herself to the art of cosmetology. She recently furthered her education by successfully completing her Dental Assistant Radiographer certificate at the Academy of Dental Assisting and Professional Training, demonstrating her commitment to professional growth.
Sarah was preceded in death by her father Nathan Harris.
She leaves behind her loving family, Her mother Esther Westbrooks.
Her children Alana Whittaker, Antwan Whittaker, Isaiah Westbrooks, Elijah Siler, and Ah’viar Lavender. Her siblings Demetria Westbrooks, Elizabeth Westbrooks, Niesha Goodspeed, Nathan Nelson, and Natisha Harris. Her aunts and uncles and a host of cousins
Sarah's sudden departure leaves us with a profound sense of loss, and the world is undoubtedly a dimmer place without her in it. However, we must also remember the incredible beauty she brought to our lives, the memories we shared, and the enduring impact of her love and compassion.
Rest in peace, dear Sarah. You will be forever missed and never forgotten.
