Shanta Renee Sherrod

Shanta Renee Sherrod, age 37, passed away on November 14, 2020 after a lengthy struggle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Shanta Renee Sherrod was born on October 22, 1983 to Angela Jones and David  Hutchinson.

Shanta Renee Sherrod graduated from Hughes High School from their Nursing program.

After High School she attended Brown Mackie College where she received her Associate degree in Applied Science, Medical Assistant and Healthcare Administration. She also volunteered as a candy striper at Drake Center, Good Sam Hospital, Deaconess Medical building and Emergency room. Shanta’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and especially loved being surrounded by her cousins. She was an avid reader of Urban books in her free time. She confessed her hope in Christ at an early age and was active at her church,Deliverance Temple, Cincinnati Ohio, until her health declined. Her smile was contagious with those prominent dimples that would light up a room.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents: Angela (Dodd) Jones and David (Tamara) Hutchinson; her loving son: Mishan Aaron Jones; sister: Denise and brother:Dodd II, maternal grandparents: Theodore Sherrod and Annie Trimm, fraternal grandparents: Wonnie May Ramsey and Charles Dailey (deceased), great grandmother: Lillie Mae Hutchinson; 2 nieces: DaneahAustin and Ryleigh Kelly; very good friends: Marlon Styles, Vannessa King and Antoinn Kidd and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
