Stephen Brent Twyman was born on August 23, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Steve was the third and last child born to the union of Edward Lee and Carrie Mitchell Twyman. Steve was called home to rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
Steve was baptized at an early age and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church with his family into his teen years. Throughout his life, he read and became knowledgeable in many spiritual beliefs, including Rastafarianism, Hare Krishna Hinduism, Zen Buddhism and others. Steve was raised in the Silverton community where he was well liked and made many friends, several of whom continued into lifelong friendships. Steve attended Silverton Elementary School, Shroder Jr. High, Walnut Hills and Woodward High Schools prior to testing for and receiving his G.E.D.
Steve worked odd jobs and temporary positions and was a consistent figure in the community for those who needed general labor assistance, regardless of what was entailed.
Steve loved music, enjoyed playing the guitar and flute, and was versed in several musical genres, including Reggae, Jazz, Rock and others. He had a love for several musicians, including Bob Marley, Jimmy Hendrix and Alice Coltrane to name a few.
Steve was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Edward and Carrie Twyman, and niece, Aria Ashley Twyman.
Steve leaves to cherish his memory: aunts, Sophie and Irene Plear of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers, Bruce Twyman (Tamre) of Rosamond, California and Darrell Twyman of Cincinnati, Ohio; niece, Melanie Twyman of Rosamond, California and nephew, Eddie Twyman of Walnut, California; cousins, Regina Hasan of Atlanta, Georgia, Stanley Mitchell and Denise Shepard of Cleveland, Ohio, Tom Denton and Jill Byrd (Bryan) of Cincinnati, Ohio; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
