Taijuan D. Johnson was a beloved son, brother, nephew, friend, uncle and vibrant presence in the lives of all that knew him. Taijuan was born on February 12, 1982 in Louisville, Kentucky to Lori Johnson and Kenneth Shaw.
He went to WintonWoods High School and later received his GED. Taijuan also attended Military Academy in Spokane, Washington. He was trying to find his knack in life for what he enjoyed doing. He went from cutting trees, to painting and car detailing at his best friend, Phino Car Salon. Taijuan worked many jobs and enjoyed being around family and friends.
He also had an infectious smile and a charming personality which was a source of constant warmth and happiness with his presence. He had a way of making you gravitate toward him. Taijuan did everything with no sense of urgency. We called him a turtle. He was very laid back all the time.
He was the first born grandson to Kenneth Johnson and Phyllis Webster. Taijuan also was a loving father to his four sons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lori R. Johnson and Kenneth Shaw. As a father, son and brother, Taijuan is survived and cherished by his sons,Tai’sean (18), Taijuan (17), Nikolas (9) and Tai’Quan (10);sister, Anissa Cornelius (Benjamin) of San Diego, California; nieces, Frankie and Mercy; nephews, Jack and Salem; brothers, Brent, Donta, Durell, Chris, Kenneth and Donavan; sister, Summer; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins and devoted friends.
