Celebrating the Life of Terence Martin
Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Terence Martin was called home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2026, at the age of sixty-two.
He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Edward and Dorothy Martin.
Terence graduated from Princeton High School in 1981 and later joined the U.S. Army where he proudly served honorably immediately following high school.
Terence accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as a young adult. Terence was firm believer in Christ and would ask anybody “Do you believe Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior?” At any moment, Terence could quote full Bible Scriptures without even opening the Bible, reflecting his sincere devotion to Christ and his discipleship.
Terence is the proud father of Terrance, affectionately known as Lil Terrance, as we can see he is not that little anymore. Their relationship was marked by moments of laughter, shared stories, and simple joys. Beyond his role as a father, Terence was someone who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a way of making people feel welcome and seen, often with his warm smile and endless supply of funny jokes.
He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Martin, father Edward Martin, brother Edwin Martin, sister Carol Ann Cunningham, and sister Monica Parker.
Terence leaves to cherish his memories; his devoted fiancé of 20 years Oneida Palmore, his son Terence Bennie (Tiara) and many grandchildren whom he loved dearly. A loving stepmother, Johnnie Mae Martin, seven siblings: Carneithia (Sanford) Green, Clarence Cunningham, Carmella (Kendall) Chapple, sister-in-law Jenifer Martin, brother-in-law Vincent Parker, Crystal (James-Nelson) Estes, Kimberly (Ivan) Sutherland, Kellie (Brian) Forts, and Karyn Davis.
His favorite scripture is Romans 10:9 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
