Terrence Franklin McDade aka "Re-Run" and "Big T'' was born to Marlene Dixon and Vernon Finch on July 17, 1962. Marlene later married Bobby Dixon on April 19, 1979 to whom became a second father to Terrence. Terrence attended Reading High School where he played football and dominated on the field. He later received his GED in 1985.
Terrence worked his entire career as a Sous Chef working at numerous restaurants around Cincinnati: Main Street Brewery, Nicholson's, PF Chang's and Montgomery Inn, to name a few. He was employed at Montgomery Inn for 16 years before his passing. He loved and enjoyed working for his Montgomery Inn family. He was a self-taught cook who simply had a natural born talent for cooking.
His hobbies included fishing, camping, dancing and listening to music - pretty much anything that involved family, food and good laughs. He was a diehard Bengals fan. He was tuned in EVERY Sunday, decked out in all the gear. We will miss him yelling at the TV, calling all the plays before the referee, and the 'Who Dey's" he would belt outside for the neighbors to hear after every touch down. Terrence will be missed most for his smile and gut wrenching jokes. He was a protector of his family and always one phone call away.
He leaves behind: his wife and lifelong partner of 38 years (21 married), Monica McDade; sister, Terrell Brockman; brothers, Tony Dixon and Bobby Dixon; children, Wayne Johnson (Mia), Kenyatta McDade, Monique Johnson, Shayla Arter and Tiara Johnson; 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. He will truly be missed by many.
