Theodore Johnson, Jr.

THEODORE (TED) JOHNSON JR. 81 of Middletown, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday May 16, 2023.

He was born on September 1, 1941 in Conecuh, AL to the late Theodore and Eula (Riley) Johnson then moved to Buffalo, NY. Ted was a member of Tried Stone Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his son, Marcus Thomas; sister, Maxine Johnson; and brother, John Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted and loving wife of 36 years, Cathy; three stepchildren, which he was a father to, Russell Warfield (New York), Denny Arnett (Youngstown) and his special daughter, Natalee Henderson (Middletown); four grandchildren, Malcom, Devin, Kyra and Kyle Henderson; a very special great-granddaughter and his night time pray warrior, Lyric Henderson; and host of family and friends.

Ted retired from Monarch Marketing as an Auditor Quality Control Supervisor after 25 years of service.

Ted was a also a Veteran of the Air Force with a Honorable Discharge. He was also a mentor for several youths in the community and would not hesitate to share his wisdom from years ago.

All that knew Ted will always remember his infectious and unique laugh, along with his sense of humor!
