Thomas Bronaugh, III Obituary

Thomas M. Bronaugh III was born on February 20, 1981 in Cincinnati, OH to Thomas L. Bronaugh II and Jacqueline K. Burgess. He peacefully departed this life to be with God, on June 14, 2025.

Tommy attended Withrow High School and was well known in the Madisonville community. Tommy was an only child for years, but he was never lonely because he grew up surrounded by his many cousins who were just like siblings.  In his early years, his home was full of love with grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles.  His upbringing gave Tommy his sense of family, which he valued above all things. He loved and respected his parents. Always the family man, Tommy spent most of his time with his family, especially his children. He was known for his loyalty towards friends and was a trusted friend to many. Laid back and easy-going, he always had a smile on his face. Tommy fought a long, hard battle with his illness, but showed us how to deal with pain, leaving it in God’s hands.

Tommy’s homegoing was preceded by his mother, Jacqueline K. Burgess; his grandparents, Catherine Bronaugh, Shirley A. Henderson Burgess and Charles Burgess and his beautiful daughters, Zhian Maryae’ Bronaugh and Na’Kyrah Maryae’ Bronaugh. With the acceptance of Jesus as his Savior, the angels were rejoicing upon Tommy’s arrival.

Tommy leaves to cherish his memory: his grandfather, Thomas Bronaugh Sr.; his father, Thomas L. Bronaugh II who gave him strength; his loving wife, Chrystal Bronaugh who remained by his side through sickness and in health; his faithful daughter, Samiah Bronaugh who will always be her Daddy’s girl; his sons, Darion Bronaugh and Daymar Whitehead who will carry out his legacy along with his grandchildren, Ja’Lanii Maryae’ Lynn Bronaugh and Da’Mauriae Nasir Bronaugh who will miss him.

He leaves his siblings, Tiffany Black, Shayna Matthews, Da’Jon Bronaugh, Alejandro Bronaugh, Love’ Bronaugh, Mahogany Bronaugh, and Milan Bronaugh to find peace and comfort in his loving memories. Tommy also leaves a host of loving family and close friends who will always cherish him in their hearts.
