Tony “Randy” Johnson was born on February 16, 1969 to Betty Mae Johnson (deceased) and Woodson Lee Burton (deceased), both of Covington, Kentucky.
Tony attended Holmes High School, where he was a member of the Cross Country Team. The team earned many championships. Most notably, in 1989 the NKAC Championship. Tony was ranked number one in the Northern Kentucky region. He also particpated in various community basketball tournaments.
Tony graduated in 1987. After graduation, he dis-covered his passion for working with kids and being a mentor. He has made a positive impact on countless young people. He will forever be fondly remembered as “Mr. Johnson”. He was a hard worker with an entrepreneurial spirit. This spirit led him to cutting hair and owning his own landscaping and commercial cleaning business.
Tony was preceded in death by: his siblings, Nathan, Rhonda, Selena and William.
Tony is survived by: his son, Anthony James King; his siblings, twin sister Sandy, Joann, James (Angie), Larry (Annette), Carolyn, Robert (Laura), Joe, Gwen, Jamie and Thomas (Carol). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives who loved him dearly.
