On July 7, 1982, God sent a beautiful life into the earth and on May 7, 2025, Traciann Cecilia Pagnucco, lovingly known as Traci, went home to be with the Lord, in Fairfield, Ohio, at the age of 42. Born in Toledo, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Frederick and Vanessa McQueen.
Traci was a radiant presence—full of light, joy, and laughter.
She was ten years old when her family relocated to Cincinnati, OH. She attended Anderson High School where she participated in Color Guard. She was also the second president of the Multi-cultural Club. Traci graduated in 2002 and pursued her passion for faith and learning at World Harvest Bible College for two years. After returning to Cincinnati, she discovered her gift for floral design. It was a gift she would continue to cultivate throughout her life. She was blessed to be mentored for a time by the award-winning floral designer Michael Gaffney and created extravagant floral pieces for many while living in Florida and California including the actress “Mo’Nique.” She also had a floral design featured in Cincinnati’s 2019 Homearama.
She had an adventurous heart and a love for travel, visiting destinations like Australia, Hawaii, California, and Florida. Eventually, she returned to Cincinnati, where her creativity and friendships continued to blossom.
Traci was not only a gifted floral designer but also a devoted lover of music and theatre. She had a contagious laugh and an incredible sense of humor. She enjoyed helping and would volunteer at her parent’s church (The Sanctuary) where she was known as the “Church Mother” as well as the resident designer for all events and holidays. She was a proud supporter of the church’s diaper and clothing ministry.
In addition to floral design, Traci also worked in several management positions with her final position being Events Manager at Twin Lakes. It was in this position that she was honored as 2024 Outstanding Caregiver at the Caregiver Mass sponsored by Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio, the Order of Malta and the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains. She was nominated by Twin Lakes for surpassing expectations in her compassionate care of others. She absolutely loved the staff and residents.
Traci is survived by her devoted parents, Frederick and Vanessa McQueen; her beloved siblings, Candace, Gabriel, and Alexis; and her precious niece, Hannah, whom she adored. She is also mourned by aunts and uncles, Surilla Ott, Ella Brewer (Erroll), Sarah Green, Gloria McCullom, Ellis Green Jr., Rebecca Franklin, Valerie Sumate, Stephanie Harper (Timothy), Christopher McQueen (Crystal), Scotty Akins and Warren McQueen (Akeya), numerous cousins, very special friends, Mallory Stafford, DaMon Butler, Raenesha Jones, William Matthews and Nancy Norton, as well as many other wonderful co-workers and friends whose lives were enriched by her presence. Traci’s legacy is one of love, kindness, creativity, and joy. Though her time with us was far too short, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the diaper ministry c/o The Sanctuary Covenant Christian Fellowship.
