Tracy Lynne DuBose Christie

Tracey Lynne (Dubose) Christie was born on October 8, 1974 to Yvonne (DuBose) Lackey and Kenneth Davenport.

Tracey’s spiritual foundation was laid in early childhood when she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Tracey was baptized into the family of Christ in 1992 at New Shiloh Baptist Church. Tracey re-affirmed her faith in Christ and was baptized for the second time at Faith Unlimited Outreach Development Ministries. She remained there until the late 2000’s.

Tracey spent her childhood education at Bond Hill Elementary, middle school at Roosevelt in Springfield, Ohio and high school years at Withrow High School.

In 1999, Tracey and Delroy were joined in Holy Matrimony. Into this union were blended seven beautiful children whom were loved, nurtured and cherished.

To know Tracey was to love Tracey from perspective of family and friends alike. Tracey was a private individual, very genuine and unapologetic. Tracey was very family-oriented, wise, strong, supportive, creative and outrageously funny. Tracey was very spiritual, reserved, hospitable, attentive, kind and gave the best hugs.

Most of all, her final years in this life were grueling, hard and became a constant struggle, just to survive. Tracey departed this life on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Tracey was triumphant and has gotten the victory!!! Glory to God in the Highest.

Tracey was preceded in death by: sons, Navar Christie and Russell Lamont DuBose

Tracey leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Delroy Christie; daughters, Olivia Christie, Simoane Christie, Emonee Christie and Chloe Christie; mother, Yvonne (DuBose) Lackey; sisters, Kenya (DuBose) Stone (Shanda), Ebony (DuBose) Johnson (Mark) and Kendra Crooms; four grandchildren, six nieces, three nephews, three great nieces, one great nephew and a host of family and friends.

Tracey is and was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. Goodnight Tracey. We will see you in the morning!!!
