Trevell Dion Williams, Sr. Obituary

Trevell Dion Williams, affectionately known as Dink, T Raines, Raino, TT, and by various other nicknames from his many friends and loved ones, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 47. He passed peacefully at Hospice of Cincinnati, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Born on July 6, 1978, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Deborah and Robert Williams, Trevell’s journey began. He grew up in the Evanston, Avondale, and Madisonville neighborhoods, where he built the foundations of lifelong friendships. He shared a special bond with his sister, Anitra, whom he often called his “First Best Friend,” and was always ready for youthful mischief with his cousin and original partner-in-crime, Kwesi. He also grew up surrounded by cousins Ronny, Tonya, and Kiki, his "Brothers from Another Mother," the O'Bannon Brothers (Baby J, Lamar, Thomas, Mike), Joe Mckibbens, Jason Star and the R.E.C. Family.

Trevell accepted Jesus Christ at a young age, often attending Brown Chapel A.M.E. with his Aunt Pam. He later deepened his faith, joining Greater Liberty Baptist Church where he was baptized by Rev. Mabry on February 5, 2026.

A dedicated professional, Trevell was a graduate of Dohn Community High School and furthered his education at Fortis College, earning a certificate in HVAC. He also achieved OSHA certifications and a manufacturing skills certification through the Greater Cincinnati Urban League, leading to a career as a skilled Chemical Operator and Certified HVAC Specialist.

Trevell’s warm smile, sense of humor, and easy-going personality left a lasting impression on every person he met. People were naturally drawn to him, and it was in his nature to offer a helping hand, often looking out for others before himself. His life was made complete seven years ago when he began dating the love of his life, Stephanie Isham. The two were inseparable, often seen together attending events and simply enjoying life. Stephanie was a devoted and loving partner, staying by his side through his illness, even taking up residence in his hospital room to ensure he was never alone. She cared for him and his family with incredible love, becoming like a second daughter. His greatest joys were simple: family, community, and fishing.

A significant part of Trevell's life was his commitment to the Fraternal Order of the Elks. He joined the "Mother Lodge" of ELKDOM, Alpha Lodge #1, in 2016. His dedication saw him rise through the ranks, serving as the Esteemed Leading Knight under two Exalted Rulers. His highest degree title was PSP Trevell Williams, a member of the Past State President's Council. He was the Forrester of the Past Exalted Rulers Council #26, a member of the Ohio State Association, a Special Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler, and a member of the National District Deputies Council where he served as Esquire. As 1st Lt. Williams, he was also a member of the Antlered Guard Dept. and the B.F. Howard Honor Guard #1610. His tireless service was recognized with numerous awards, including the prestigious ELK of the Year in 2024.

Trevell's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his loving family. He is survived by his partner Stephanie Isham; his mother, Deborah Williams; his father, Robert Williams (Lisa and Step-Sister Tiffany); his loving son, Trevell Dion Williams Jr.; his bonus daughter, Angel Lee; his sister, Anitra Williams; his niece, Myliah Boyd; his aunts, Pam and Lillian; his uncles, Nebulun, Jimmy, and Gary; and a host of other cousins, family, and friends who became family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elven and Mary McKitric and Rosa Lee Williams, as well as several beloved family members.

Trevell was a good father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and a friend to all. He will be dearly missed, and his memory will forever be a blessing.
