Viola Napier

Viola Napier was born on March 31, 1953 to the late Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Alberta Grace. She grew up in a loving household with her six siblings: Sandra Wiles, Lisa Gardner, Lisa Grace, Theresa Grace, Benita Grace and Jerome Grace.

Viola grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where she graduated from Hughes High School and continued her education at Cincinnati State Technical Institute, studying Robotics Engineering. She attended and was baptized at First Lutheran Church, where her children and family would later be baptized.

Throughout Viola’s life, she had a strong passion for cooking, so when she began making unique dishes, it came as no surprise to the family as well. Viola would spread her love to everyone she could reach, fostering children for over 25 years. She also developed a love for Gatlinburg where she spent every Christmas with her family and friends.

Viola was preceded in death by Johnathan (son), Eiana (granddaughter) and Brian Jr. (great-grandson).

Leaving to cherish precious memories: her children, Tiffany (Matthew Powell), Jerome, Nicholas Sr., Michael and Keshawn; 23 grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Ashantii, Feshawn, Feshia, Sierra, Semiya, Tyrik, Johnathan, Johnathan Jr., Nicole, Ne’Onni, Ne’Ashia, Nicholas Jr., Ceasia, Nay’Kole, Diyonne, Charmain, Michelle, Carly, Alissa, Marissa and Michael Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren, Evonnie, Matthew III, Adonis, Matteo, Jy’Don, Kyng, Queen, Ni’Yaylah, Tru and A’Maree; her only surviving uncle, Larry Grace; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and foster children, including Shawn Holloway and Jamiel Martin.
