Walter (Emmanuel) Bishop was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend. He was born on September 5, 1983 to Karen Kimberly Payne and Joseph Anthony Williams. Emmanuel was called home by God, led to eternal rest, on Monday, September 27th, 2021.
Preceding him in death is his grandfather’s Walter Bishop and Joseph Williams; grandmother Juanita Williams; uncles, Leroy Short, William (Bill) Short, and Virgil (Buster) Bishop; aunts Pamela Short and Sharon Short; brother Aaron Bishop; and best friend Troy Donald Sr.
Emmanuel graduated Salutatorian from Robert A Taft High School, where he gained a reputation for being one of the smartest people in his class and excellent in math.
A loving, but stubborn teddy bear….A man of few words…..The life of the party (he was always on the dance floor)…...Words that describe Emmanuel all too well. Emmanuel prided himself in being able to provide for his family. He loved and adored his wife and children and would do anything for them. Emmanuel was also a protector. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends who loved him just as much as he loved them.
He leaves to cherish in his memory his wife Trenae Bishop, children Emmanuel and Endiya Bishop; parents Karen and Antwan Payne and Joseph (Anthony) and Latascha Williams, brother Samuel (Tenia)Bishop; sister Valisa Bishop; grandmother Mildred Bishop; brother-in-laws Oscar and James; sister-in-laws, Tilisha, Tracey, Tisa; uncle Greg Williams; aunts Claudina Turner, Sheila Juanita, and Cornellia Williams; special friends The Moore Street Family; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
