Zarinah Akbar Felton passed away leaving behind a profound legacy of love, devotion, faith, and family unity.

As the matriarch of her family, Zarinah’s life was defined by her love of Allah, her resilience, and the deep bonds she shared with those closest to her. She was a devoted mother to her six beloved children, who will forever cherish her strength, wisdom, and unconditional love and support.

Her beautiful legacy continues through her 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.
Zarinah was also a beloved sister. She was one of nine siblings, sharing a lifetime of memories, laughter, love, and an unbreakable familial bond with her brothers and sisters. She is survived by two of her siblings.
Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her immediate family to her many nieces and nephews, who knew her as a source of love, support, guidance, and affection.
Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, the love she gave, the family she nurtured, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy will continue through the generations she leaves behind.
May Allah forgive Zarinah, have mercy upon her, illuminate and expand her grave, accept the good she brought into this world, and grant her Jannatul-Firdaws al-A‘la without reckoning.
May Allah grant her family sabr, comfort their hearts, strengthen their bonds, and reunite them with her in the highest gardens of Jannah.
